As a parent, grandparent, guardian or member of the community interested in Biggin CE Primary School, you are automatically a member of FOBS.
FOBS meet regularly to discuss ways we wish to improve the school for the children and plan fundraising ideas.

Fundraising
Many years ago, the 'Bonus Ball' fundraiser was set up and this continues to raise a large sum of money each year for school. It is a very simple system which uses the National Lottery Bonus Ball number from the Saturday draw as our 'winning' number. Each of the 59 numbers are bought for £1 per week by people interested in helping FOBS to raise funds. The winning number receives half of however much we have received for that week, for example: if 42 of the 59 numbers are sold, the winning number will receive £21 and £21 is retained by FOBS. As an added incentive, the Christmas and Easter draws pay double. If a winning number is unsold, the winnings roll-over to the following week. Raffles are also organised throughout the year and at the Christmas concert, this means FOBS are able to benefit the children by contributing towards the cost of the annual pantomime visit, purchasing Christmas presents, subsidising the Christmas party and pay for some coach travel.
Easy Fundraising
We also have an account with Easy Fundraising: if you shop online and go through this site, there is a large 'bank' of companies who will donate a percentage of your purchase costs to school. All you need to do is log onto the https://new.easyfundraising.org.uk/panel/ and shop as usual.
